Aussie Kids Software evolved out of a business originally called Eureka Family Entertainment which was founded in 2004, selling mostly on online auction sites.

I decided to create my own website offering a wide range of educational children's software and non-violent games.

A mum of 3, my eldest child suffers from Asperger's Syndrome & ADD, and is the reason I became interested in children's software over 10 years ago.  He is a visual learner and software proved invaluable to his ability to grasp the fundamentals of maths and English (grammar, spelling & reading), particularly in his early to mid-primary school years.  

My 4 year old daughter is also now using the computer and I am rediscovering some old favourites and learning about great new software.   As a parent of children of both sexes and particularly one with special needs, I am able to offer advice to parents who aren't sure which is the right software for their child.
